This past Sunday at Faith Baptist Church in Kaiserslautern Germany the original 3 members of Faith ReBorn performed our last song.  Russ Hutto wrote the tune…Click his name to check out more of his music.

A big part of Faith ReBorn is the uniqueness of our situation being in a military community.  Band members will come and go and although it’s no fun seeing friends/band mates go, we know God will continue in our “ReBirth” and supply us with other members to praise His name.

So, while this is the last performance for the 3 of us together, stay tuned……We don’t know when, but there will be more to come!

Well, we knew this day would come, but it has come too fast.  Such is life in a military community…..people come and go…..friends come and go…..relationships are made, deep connections that will last lifetimes…..The original 3 members of Faith ReBorn will, more than likely (I say that because I suppose anything “could” happen) have their final performance this Sunday at Faith Baptist Church here in Germany.  On the 18th of this month Joel will begin a six month deployment and by the time he returns Jason will have PCS’d (permanent change of station).  Thus, this Sunday being our last time together.

Joel, Jason and myself will give glory to God with a song written by a friend of mine Russ Hutto.  The song is titled Psalm 93–The Lord Reigns.  A perfect song to end our time together.  I will be sure to record it and put it here soon after.

God willing, that will not be the end of Faith ReBorn.  Joel will return and if it’s God’s plan, He’ll bring us another drummer .

It’s been short, but an honor nonetheless to have the opportunity to worship Jesus Christ with these guys.

Born Again–Third Day

Praise God!

This week we’re happy to introduce Charissa (vocals) and Matt (sound tech) to the team!!  Here’s a couple of videos of our first practice with them.

Yes, the videos say “JOSH”….that’s cuz I’m a moron and got his name wrong…..Welcome and I apologize MATT!!

Well, Sarah requested it and far be it from us to say no . Not too bad for a first time. We were gonna practice it once and then go, but was afraid it might not be as good the 2nd time .

After the last video I posted, I received numerous emails asking why I can’t manage to keep an entire song together.  HA!  Well, we haven’t been doing this long and this practice was actually our first on many of these songs.  So, it’s rare that we play one all the way through without stopping.  This is as close as it gets.
